pretty little liars season 2 episode 7 : Tells Aria about her dad yelling and also wonders who Jason is hiding in his upstairs. Just then she gets a text from Mrs. DeLaurentis—and so does Aria. Mrs. DeLaurentis wants to have lunch with them all.
Over lunch, Mrs. DeLaurentis pulls out four dress boxes. Do they remember seeing them? Yes. In a flashback we see Ali modeling a dress and belittling her friends. We know it’s a flashback because it’s all yellowy. I guess this is meant to be “hefty Hanna,” when Alison says the dress won’t stretch, but in Rosewood “hefty” must mean “wearing bulky sweater.”
She wants them to wear Ali’s clothes for the fashion show.
At the fashion show Spencer sees her father arguing with Mrs. DeLaurentis. What’s going on?
At home she asks him, but he doesn’t tell her—just tells her to stay away from Jason.
Emily: Sees her mom on the phone with her dad in Texas, and when her mother admits how hard it is to be away from him, encourages her mom to go be with dad there, since she’s missing him.
Samara brings her her dress backstage—with a date! Who’s holding her hand.
The moms bond as Emily’s mom wonders if she could leave Emily for a few months. Before the show starts Tom and Ashley share a dance. It sure looks as though Hanna was right, especially when he said “I never complimented you enough.”
